This has to be the most amazing “Fully Mobile” digital camera you can get.

Fully Mobile Seitz 6x17 Digital

With 160 million pixels and it’s high sensitivity of 500-10,000 ISO/ASA this will suit any situation you can throw at it.

However, I wouldn’t necessarily agree that this is “Fully Mobile”! You wouldn’t carry it in your pocket would you?

Please come and join us for a drink to celebrate a start of a new year at Point 101 (top floor), 101 New Oxford Street, WC1A 1DD on Monday 15 January 2007.

Andy Allan from the ScottishCFUG and Peter Ball (‘the unstoppable blogging machine’) are also down from Scotland and will be leading the drinking antics! Also, other well know UKCFUGers that will be attending are Mark Drew and Kev McCabe.

Unfortunately the UKCFUG website is a bit bust (we’re working on it) so we can’t post this social meeting. Hopefully we’ll be back to a normal service soon!

Flex 2.0.1 Released!

For those that aren’t aware (and I’ve just found out), Flex 2.0.1 is now available on the Adobe website and ready for download.

The Flex 2.0.1 release notes are also on the Adobe website. The highlights being:

  • Macintosh support
  • Reorganized preferences
  • Support for Runtime CSS
  • Context root for server-based projects
  • Modules

There is a simple installer to update your version of Flex Builder, plus separate installation steps for updating the SDK and FDS.

Also, there is a link to the ActionScript 3 Examples mentioned in Programming ActionScript 3.0 at the bottom of the release notes page.
